2016 KOLON VIP CALENDAR

KOLON is one of the leading companies representing Korea and working in construction, retail, industrial materials and fashion.
This work has progressed inspired by ‘One&Only’ namely the KOLON’s core value meaning that we are unique, special and competitive people. We have a tradition to present important people with the calendar in order to express appreciation to them at the end of the year. Especially, recipients will be deeply impressed when they receive the VIP calendar as a gift and it means the best gratitude e-pression.
The very special printing technique called ‘Engraving offset method’ was applied for the purpose of the quality improvement of the limited VIP calendar. The same as the original work could be produced through the printing technique print makers employ.

KOLON은 한국을 대표하는 선도적인 기업으로, 건설, 유통, 산업 자재 및 패션 분야에서 활동하고 있습니다. 이 작품은 KOLON의 핵심 가치인 ‘One&Only’에서 영감을 받아 진행되었습니다. 이는 우리가 독창적이고 특별하며 경쟁력을 갖춘 사람들임을 의미합니다. 우리는 연말이 되면 중요한 분들께 감사의 마음을 전하기 위해 캘린더를 선물하는 전통을 가지고 있습니다. 특히, VIP 캘린더를 선물로 받는 사람들은 깊은 감동을 받으며, 이는 최고의 감사 표현이 됩니다.
한정판 VIP 캘린더의 품질 향상을 위해 ‘인그레이빙 옵셋 방식(Engraving offset method)’이라는 매우 특별한 인쇄 기법이 적용되었습니다. 이를 통해 판화 제작 기법을 활용하여 원작과 동일한 수준의 결과물을 인쇄할 수 있었습니다.
